Film i Väst co-produces some of the most celebrated Scandinavian cinema of the last two decades. Funding a film is not SaaS pace — a single production weekend can reshape a year of disbursement data, and the institution needs software that can keep up with that rhythm while preserving an audit trail a public funder can defend.
We built and continue to evolve GMS, the fund's grant-management system: intake, financing, co-production tracking, and project follow-up, on .NET Framework with MySQL. The stack is unglamorous on purpose. Film funding lives on relationships, institutional memory, and a decade-long data lineage that no trendy rewrite justifies disturbing.
